The next scientific seminar of Department No1 of the Institute of Information Technology dedicated to the"Weka" software and its possiblities "theme was discussed.

Presenting report employee of the depatrment Elmar Garayev gave detailed information about "Weka" functions which reflects machine learning algorithm and methods. He said, Big Data analysis was used " in the “Weka”.He noted that through this program it is possible to conduct analysis on business analytics, data visualization and data storage.

"Weka" is one of the 10 most frequently used programs in the business analytics environment, said E.Garayev and he spoke about "ARFF" file structure and its advantages.

Reporter stated that "Weka" software is easily integrated into programs written in Java, this program applied to the intellectual analysis of data, he stressed.

In the end, exchanged views on the report, questions were answered. Chief project engineer of the institute, PhD, assistant professor Makrufa Hajirahimova advised him to deepen research in this direction.
