Presentation of web-sites of "Azerbaijan National Encyclopedia" Scientific Center under ANAS operates and Azerbaijan National Encyclopedia was held. At the event specialists of Institute of Information Technology of ANAS and officials of National Encyclopedia Center took part.

Firstly head of department of Institute of Information Technology of ANAS Gulnara Nabibayova gave information about the website of Scientific Center ame-merkez.gov.az. She said that the site was developed by the specialists of the institute.

Website is in Azerbaijani, Russian and English languages, the site’s Home page is composed of "About Us", "Structure", "Azerbaijan National Encyclopedia", "News", "Official Documents", "Announcements" and "Gallery" sections. Website is based on the latest technologies and comprehensive search engine, maps and useful links are also available.

Chief of sector of the institute Afruz Gurbanova spoke about the policy of ame-merkez.gov.az "News" section. She said that it is advisable to place the data on the activities of the Center, organized events, meetings, new publications, interviews, speeches.

Then research fellow of the Institute Yusif Sadiyev presented ensiklopediya.gov.az web-site of the Azerbaijan National Encyclopedia system. According to him, the system is able to transition directly from the website of the Center and encyclopedic dictionaries and their explanations in online form are placed, and this process is ongoing.

Y.Sadıyev providing information about the site's search system, pointed out that at the system it is possible to conduct a search on the word, alphabet and book cover.
