Reports on "approaches and recommendations on the conduct of scientific research” were delivered at scientific seminar  workshop dedicated to “ Methodological bases of researches’’ . Head of Education Department Director of the Institute, PhD, associate professor Farhad Yusifov informed about the structure of scientific research, scientific and theoretical basis of challenges, types of articles, research ethics, plagiarism and so on.

In order to start the research work, first and foremost, the correct selection of purpose of the study and structure of research, determination of  researches  series are very important.

F. Yusifov noted that  Internet, digital libraries, journals, books, laws, directive documents are considered the main sources of information in  thesis writing. According to him,  abstract magazines should be  researched while preparing  review, search should be carried out with the help of keywords on the Internet, problems should be detected, their origin and state  should be analyzed.

Head of the department also spoke about the advantages of publication of articles in journals included to  "Elsevier", "Springer", "Wiley", "Cambridge University Press" and other academic journals. Special requirements for preparation of the articles are noted in these journals.

 In the end, there was an exchange of views on the subject, many questions were answered.
