A next scientific seminar at the Institute of Information Technology was held. The event was dedicated to the study of the multiple problems of large-sized data, Academician-Secretary of ANAS, director of the Institute of Information Technology of ANAS, Academician Rasim Alguliyev said.

Then, head of department, DSc. Ramiz Aliguliyev delivered a report on subject “Algorithms of big data clustering”.He informed about clustering methods. These methods are divided into trained, semi-trained and not trained classes.

Methods of Big data clustering are divided to methods working on parallel systems and a lot of problems are encountered in this field, he noted.

Ramiz Aliguliyev gave detailed information about clustering methods implemented in many machines. Reporter also informed about algorithms based on division, density, grid and model, including,  advantages and shortcomings of hierarchical algorithms .

 In the end, there was an exchange of views on the subject, many questions were answered.
