On July 19, the head of department of Institute of Information Technology, associate professor-Alovset Aliyev was a guest at Azerbaijan State Television "Morning" news program. He gave information about scientific research in the direction of formation of the Institute of Information Technology and information society.

Ensuring sustainable development in accordance with international trends, such as "green" economy and society, Alovset Aliyev was talking about the problems of the Internet and information and communication technologies (ICT), spoke about the positive effects of this process. He has focused attention to the catalyst type role of the Internet and has noted that ICT is impetus in the field of efficient use of natural resources.

He analized e-waste (e-waste) the nature of the problem, its socio-economic aspects and governance issues.He said that, investigation are carried out at the institute on the above-mentioned area. Then, spoke about nature, purpose of the formation of e-services concept of scientific research in the audio-video information in the field of e-government, application issues, the proposed algorithms and software.

Aliyev gave information about the development of non-oil sector, as well as software development tools and products and the development prospects of the industry .
