Coordination and forecasting of demand and supply of skilled workers in the labor market-experience of the European Union and Eastern Partnership” project within the framework of Working program of the Eastern Partnership Platform II in 2014-2017 years was held. Head of department at the institute of Information Technologies of ANAS, doctor of technical sciences, Professor Masuma Mammadova represented Azerbaijan in this project.

Within the framework of this project, the most successful examples for acquainting with the experience of  EU member countries on coordination and forecasting of demand and supply of skilled workers in the labor market-experience of the Eastern Partnership supported by Education Fond ,as well as, scientific researches in this field, new institutional mechanisms are presented, thematic seminars are organized in order to be acquainted with models on coordination and forecasting of demand and supply.

Researches have been carried out by the Institute of Information Technology since 2008. Monitoring of supply and demand of IT professionals in labor market are conducted for the first time in 2008, then in 2013-2014 and 2015. Incompatibleness of IT training to the dynamic development of this sector is defined, methods and algorithms were developed in order to assess modeling at micro and macro levels and intellectual management of demand and supply relations in labor market, to evaluate imbalance between demand and supply.

The next thematic seminar on held on June 21-23, 2016 was organized by the Education and Labor Market Scientific Research Centre attached to the University of Maastricht in the Netherlands.
