A semiannual report of No. 3 department at the  Institute of Information Technology was discussed. Head of department Tahmasib Fataliyev informed about activities of department. Actual scientific-theoretical problems of e-science formation are investigated, formation and perspective issues of Data Science and Science 2.0 are researched, he said. He also informed about activities performed in the  development of  technological model of e-science based on cloud technology.

Head of department gave detailed  information about “E-science and the development of new methods and algorithms for the synthesis of functional sub-systems” funded by the Science Development Fund under the President of Azerbaijan Republic.

Tahmasib Fataliyev gave brief information about scientific-organizational activities of department, participitation in scientific- technical conferences, seminars and symposiums, promotion  of scientific and practical results in mass media.

In the end, there was an exchange of views on the subject, many questions were answered.
