The meeting of the Scientific Board of the Institute of Information Technology  of ANAS was held. The event was opened by the academician-secretary of ANAS, director of the Institute of Information Technology of ANAS, academician Rasim Alguliyev. Implemented projects, scientific-research works done in the current year are noted at the event.

Head of the general department of the Institute Dinara Zeynalova gave information about the status of implementation of the tasks set for the months of March, April, May in 2016.

Then the head of the department No. 16 of the institute Gulnara Nabibayova presented a new version of the official website of the institute “www.ikt.az“ and noted that "the website was launched on May 17, 2006 - World Telecommunication and Information Society Day.

Technical Director of the Institute PhD Rashid Alakbarov, Doctor of Technical Sciences Ramiz Aliguliyev, PhD in physical and mathematical sciences -Tofig Kazimov, PhDs Yadigar Imamverdiyev, Shafagat Mahmudova and Vugar Musayev, chief project engineer of the Institute Phd Makrufa Hajirahimova, sector managers Rasim Mahmudov and Irada Alakbarova, senior research fellow Oktay Alakbarov and others took part in the discussions on the new design of the website and gave some recommendations.

Head of department of the institute, PhD Farhad Yusifov spoke on the approval of new PhD students in the current year. Admission exam has been taken in specialties 1203.01 - "Computer Science", 3338.01 - "System analysis, control and information processing" and 3339.01 - "Information protection methods and systems, information security".
