The decision on the establishment of"ElmTV Internet Television" Department under the Department of Public Relations and Science Popularization of the Presidium of ANAS was med at a meeting of the Presidium of ANAS.

Director of the Institute of Information Technologies of ANAS, academician Rasim Alguliev is to provide technological support to the activities of "ElmTV Internet Television" Department. Khatira Jabbarzadeh was appointed the head of the new department.

Note that, ElmTV was formed by the Institute of Information Technologies. Currently, public information policy of the academy is carried out by the Department of Public Relations and Science Popularization of the Presidium of ANAS.
