US 3M Company representative visited IIT |

Department chief of the Institute of Information Technology of ANAS, PhD on technical sciences Yadigar Imamverdiyev met US 3M Company, business development chief on the Caspian region Metin Amiraslanov. The guest got acquainted with the scientific-research and practical work carried out in the field of biometrical technologies at the institute.
Let’s note that, 3M Company, one of the huge companies of the US, has been operating in Azerbaijan for 3 years. 3M Company is one of the leading conglomerates producing various devices for telecommunication, heath, construction, graphical art, automizing and maritime technologies. The company particularly is famous for new outputs’ production related to documents requiring special security, as well as identification cards and passport readers. Participating in several new generation passport projects of different countries, 3M Company has a big experience in this sphere.
During the meeting the guest has been informed about the work fulfilled in this field, development of corporation relationships between the company and the institute has been discussed.
