Firuddin Tarlan Agayev was born in 1963.

In 1985 he graduated from “Automation and computing devices” faculty of Azerbaijan Polytechnic University.

In 1985, he was accepted for employment to Automated Control Systems Department of Azerbaijan Academy of Sciences, where he worked as engineer, programmer engineer, and head of laboratory. As of 1986, he conducted methodical works with graduate students and respondents on the “Basics of informatics and computing devices” subject.

In 1987,  he entered graduate school (aspiranture) on specialty of “Automated control systems” under the Institute of Cybernetics of Azerbaijan Academy of Sciences.

In 1997, he defended a thesis on specialty of “Distance aerospace researches” on subject of “Establishment of high speed radon-type changes in modeling process of pattern restoration methods in accordance with projections” – 05.07.12.

In 2002-2003 years,  he lectured in Azerbaijan National Aviation Academy on subjects of  “Automated Control Systems”, “Information and Computing Systems”. He is the instructor of Local Cisco Academy and Automated ECDL Test Center.

In 2016,  he was awarded with the title of associate professor by the Higher Attestation Commission under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan.

He is the author of 41 articles and 3 books.

Currently he is the curator at Training Innovtaion Center of Institute of Information Technology.

He is the head of department of Institute of Information Technology of ANASas of 2002.
